The International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced the FIFA World Cup football to be held in 2022 after the official meeting. In this official announcement, the date of FIFA World Cup football has been kept from 21 November to 18 December.
FIFA World Cup football will be played in Qatar. Players from 32 countries will play in this tournament lasting 28 days.
Officials say that due to the weather, its date has been kept as November-December. It is difficult to play this game played in June-July, due to heat weather.
This global tournament will be the shortest day tournament after 1998. When in 2014, the World Cup in Brazil lasted for 31 days.
The first match of the tournament will be held at Al Bayt Stadium on November 21, 2022, from 3.30 pm Indian time. The stadium is designed and named based on traditional tents used by the Narmedic people living in the Gulf region. The stadium has a capacity of 60 thousand.
The group matches are held from 3.30, 6.30, 9.30 (night) and 12.30 (late night) at Indian time. After this, the matches of the last round of group matches are held at 8.30 and 12.30. The third-place playoff match will be held on 17 December at the Khalifa Stadium, while the final will be played on 18 December at the Lusail Stadium with a capacity of 80 thousand spectators from 8.30 pm Indian time.
The group-level has been fixed for 12 days to give all the teams proper rest between matches. There will be four matches on the day. This will allow fans to enjoy the thrill of more matches.
In view of the compact nature of the tournament, there will be no need for air travel from one venue to another in Qatar. This will help the media, teams and even the fans to decide their schedule.
