Facebook CBSE collab for digital learning

Facebook India with the Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) came together to provide teachers and students free online training on Augmented Reality and Safety Training in this pandemic. This will be free of cost for both teachers and students.

Augmented Reality program from Facebook focuses on upskilling participants on the technology of the future Augmented Reality. It will provide participants with the fundamentals of Augmented Reality and educate them to use facebook's software AR studio to create Augmented Reality experiences.
 
Safety training will be available for both students and teachers in this course Facebook will make participants become responsible digital users, how to find threat and harassment as well as how to report misinformation.
 
The Augmented Reality training will happen in two batches. In the first batch, 1600 teachers will be covered and in the second batch, 8400 teachers will be enrolled for the course. While in the safety training program there will be one form for registration with a dropdown option for students and teachers to register separately.
 
The Interested teacher can request a time slot for the training. Interested students can sign up independently and will be accepted on a first come first serve basis depending on the availability of slots in each session. One session can accommodate up to 300 participants. After successful completion of the Augmented reality course,
 
CBSE and Facebook India will provide an online certificate and an online certificate for students who attend the full session of either program and complete a brief assessment/feedback form.
 
The date of registration for the course is 6th July to 22 July 2020.
The selected candidates will be informed via email by the third of August 2020.
The first batch will start from 10th August to 7th September while the second batch starts from 25th September to16 October
